In coordination with Refuse Refuse SF and Together SF, we hosted a Dogpatch Cleanup Day on Saturday, October 23rd. More than 20 volunteers from the neighborhood including several of our UCSF neighbors joined the event to help clean up the northern half of Dogpatch. The rain gods were kind enough to hold off until we were done. We collected more than 25 bags of trash, including sadly more than 300 cigarette butts. Our most interesting find was a vintage Muni token.
Thank you to UCSF for providing lunch for all of the volunteers.
If you missed this cleanup event, you will have lots more opportunities to volunteer as we are already planning the next Dogpatch Cleanup Day for another Dogpatch location.
