The Dogpatch Neighborhood Association, Potrero Boosters and PREFund are scheduling tWO (2) socially distanced events to help activate our new Slow Streets and are looking for volunteers and participants:
Saturday, October 24th from 10am - Noon - Secure our Slow Streets
A community work event to improve the overall safety and useability of our Slow Streets, by installing additional signage, chalk stencils, etc.
Meet at the Northeast Corner of Esprit Park (19th and Minnesota St.)
Friday, October 30th from 4pm until 7pm - Spooky Slow Street Stroll
A Halloween tour of our Slow Streets in Dogpatch maintaining social distance in compliance with San Francisco's Halloween Guidance (Costumes optional)
We are scheduling this on Friday to avoid crowds and reminding everyone that this is not intended as a gathering, but rather a way to celebrate Halloween while socially distancing in these crazy times.
We are encouraging residents along Minnesota St. to decorate and consider having candy/treats available for socially distanced distribution (candy chutes, candy cannons, Mardi Gras style flinging of goodies, etc.)
If you are interested in more information or would like to be a part of neighborhood slow street activation efforts, please email us at info@dogpatchna.org.
