It is the 12th Anniversary Celebration of the Heron’s Head Park off-the-grid- EcoCenter. (they did not do the 10th-Pandemic). There is a new children’s nature area “playground” with logs and rocks…no plastic. And it is by the water so should be a nice day. You can see the off-the-grid EcoCenter too. Free food, family fun and nature. No off-leash dogs. You can ride bikes or walk out to point on long path, and walk over to India Basin along the waterfront.
Parking: Parking is first come first serve. If the parking lot is full you can park along Jennings, Newhall or the White Cap Building parking lot where our partner BMAGIC has secured additional parking for the event. Please park wisely and do not leave anything you deem valuable in your vehicle. Also the Bay Natives nursery is right across the street
