The City Canvas: A Paint the Void Retrospective

from Paint the Void Team:

Paint the Void is thrilled to announce our much-anticipated Paint the Void exhibit, The City Canvas: A Paint the Void Retrospective.

Celebrate the art and artists that transformed our city into a canvas – bringing light into moments of darkness. When San Francisco shut down for COVID-19 shelter-in-place, artists created beautiful works throughout the city on boarded-up storefronts. The City Canvas: A Paint the Void Retrospective, will showcase these artists — and a selection of their murals – together for the first time in historic Building 12 at Pier 70.

Save the date for the last two weekends in January, grab our limited and free tickets, and join us in this massive exhibit of public art:

January 22 - 23 Saturday & Sunday: Noon – 6 pm

January 27 – 30 Thursday & Friday: 4 – 9 pm Saturday & Sunday: Noon – 6 pm

Location: “Building 12” at Pier 70. Pier 70 is located via the gate at 22nd and Illinois Streets in the Dogpatch neighborhood.

Admission is FREE with a suggested DONATION of $10. Registration is required.

RSVP/Tickets URL: Eventbrite.

Join us to experience this moving collection, meet the artists and founders of Paint the Void, enjoy delicious eats from La Cocina culinary makers and beats from a variety of DJs brought to you by Fault Radio.
