Vertical Garden
A recent addition to the flora of Dogpatch hangs on a wall along this new Third street development.
Like so many new structures in Dogpatch, this garden arrived as a feature of new housing -- bringing with it many new neighbors into our community.

Vertical gardens were popularized by the French artist Patrick Blanc who installed one of the first hanging gardens at the Drew School all the way over in Pacific Heights.
Other than being hyper local, this particular garden has the added benefit of bringing joy to all as it changes its colors throughout the season.

Visit dogpatchna.org/scavenger-hunt to join the community fun as our gift to you during this year's "holidays at home" Shelter in Place.
